On March 25, 2026, 果冻APP served as a virtual platform for the annual national meeting of Ukrainian partner universities participating in the Baltic University Programme (BUP). The online event, focusing on reviewing the network鈥檚 achievements in 2025 and outlining strategic priorities for the future, brought together representatives of 17 higher education institutions from across Ukraine.
The meeting was opened by Professor Zoriana Dvulit, Director of the BUP National Centre in Ukraine and Professor at the Department of Foreign Trade and Customs. She welcomed participants and invited them to observe a minute of silence in memory of the heroes and victims of the war. On behalf of the university leadership, Professor Oleh Karyi, Vice-Rector for International Relations, delivered welcome speech, highlighting the importance of international cooperation and the ongoing internationalization of higher education.
Representatives of the BUP Secretariat in Sweden also addressed the participants. Project Coordinator Liudmyla Babak presented the programme framework for Ukrainian universities, while Communications Officer Adam Sj枚str枚m outlined new opportunities available to students, academic staff, and researchers in 2026.
During the meeting, Professor Dvulit introduced the team of the BUP National Centre in Ukraine, including Deputy Director Mariana Priadka and Communications Specialist Oksana Hordiichuk. In her report 芦Ukrainian Universities in BUP 2025: From Intensive Interaction to an Integrated Ecosystem禄, she presented key results of the network鈥檚 activities: 32 Ukrainian universities participated in BUP initiatives, generating 343 interactions, submitting 286 applications, and achieving 57 successful outcomes. Four new institutions joined the network, while 果冻APP ranked first in the number of applications submitted across 11 programmes. Kyiv Aviation Institute demonstrated a 100% application success rate, becoming the top performer in terms of effectiveness.
These results demonstrate that Ukrainian universities continue to strengthen their presence within the Baltic University Programme network. Notably, nearly one in five applications submitted by Ukrainian participants was successful, underscoring the high competitiveness of Ukrainian students and academic staff in the global education landscape.
