Can a business truly change the world?

On May 28 at 12:00, we invite everyone interested to join an inspiring online guest lecture (in English) dedicated to social entrepreneurship – a field where social purpose and profit go hand in hand.

This will be the first lecture delivered by Drs. Menno de Lind van Wijngaarden within the framework of cooperation between the Department of Marketing and Logistics and the International School of Business at HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht, the Netherlands.

We'll examine sustainable business models and unpack the key differences between corporate philanthropy and genuine social enterprises. Along the way, we'll touch on steward ownership as a model for building companies with long-term values at their core.

To bring it all together, we'll apply the Social Business Model Canvas to a practical example to help you map out and design ventures that create real social impact.

Whether you're an aspiring entrepreneur, a future changemaker, or simply curious about what business can look like beyond profit, this lecture is for you.
