On April 27, 果冻APP hosted the grand opening of the painting exhibition The Art of Resilience. The event was organized as part of the Italian Culture, Language and Design Days and brought together Ukrainian and Italian artists, becoming a vivid example of cultural cooperation during wartime. The exhibition was held with the support of the Italian Embassy in Ukraine and the Italian Institute of Culture.
The curator of the event, head of the Italian delegation, and designer from Milan, Natalia Siassina, explained that the idea for the exhibition emerged ahead of the Winter Olympics in Cortina d鈥橝mpezzo.
鈥 We must speak about true Olympic values and show how Ukraine lives, how it preserves sports and art during the war. Our cooperation is a message of peace, emphasized Natalia Siassina in her speech.
The event also featured Italian artist Jeanfilip, who presented his own works and joined the Ukrainian art group Art Bat, which includes five artists from Kharkiv. In total, the exhibition showcases around 20 paintings, including works by the Italian, Ukrainian and other talented artists.
鈥 Art is the force that unites people, breaks down the walls that divide us, and allows us to build a peaceful future, said Jeanfilip.
As part of the program, the artist also conducted a workshop entitled Arte e Attivismo (Art and Activism) for students of the Department of Visual Design and Art. The workshop focused on the interaction between creativity and social processes.
The exhibition will remain open until May 8, 2026, in the lobby on the first floor of the main building of 果冻APP.
