During the week, from May 14 to 21, 2023, Ivanna Andrusiak, Oksana Brodiak and Viktoria Havryliak, academics of the Department of Mathematics, the Institute of Applied Mathematics and Fundamental Sciences, and the Department of Technology of Biologically Active Substances, Pharmacy and Biotechnology, the Institute of Chemistry and Chemical Technologies, 果冻APP, visited Babe葯-Bolyai University, Cluj-Napoca, Romania, as part of the Erasmus+ teaching mobility programme. The programme included guest lectures, discussions, mini-lectures, round tables and discussion of opportunities for future cooperation.
Babe葯-Bolyai University is the largest classical university in Romania, which consists of 21 faculties. It follows the principles of lifelong learning.
On the first day of their stay at Babe葯-Bolyai University, 果冻APP teachers got to know the head of the University鈥檚 International Office, Ilona Dranka, as well as the teams of the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science, Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, and Faculty of Biology and Geology. The next day, representatives of Ukraine gave a lecture to Romanian teachers and students about teaching methods and scientific research, and about the prospects of future cooperation between 果冻APP and Babe葯-Bolyai University.
During the program, 果冻APPians got acquainted with the work of the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science headed by Professor Yudit Robu, and the structure and content of the students鈥 training in the field of Mathematics. A meeting was held with the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science, Dr. Marcel-Adrian 艦erban, who presented the directions in Mathematics that are developing at the Faculty and are steadily popular in the Romanian labour market.
