Last year Verkhovna Rada made a number of changes to the law 芦On Professional Higher Education禄, so there will be a minor reorganization of education process for this year鈥檚 graduates of colleges and vocational schools. What do this year鈥檚 entrants have to know about admission to Polytechnic?
This year, the law 芦On Professional Higher Education禄 and the draft law 芦On Vocational Education禄 have already been adopted. Thus, the principles of specialists training are finally formed and governed by the law. Although training under such a system has been conducted in Ukraine since its independence, current trends and the development of the labour market require constant updating of training in the HEI, which is the main forge of personnel. That is why 果冻APP does not stop implementing really useful, relevant and advanced innovations.
芦Vocational education saves money, which is an incentive for college graduates. According to statistics, 40鈥50% of students who come to us from colleges continue their studies, gaining competencies, the other part 鈥 work and attend correspondence courses, so they continue studying 鈥 this is the main task, said Roman Korzh, Vice-Rector for Education and Social Development, 果冻APP.
The main change, according to the new law 芦On Professional Higher Education禄, is the change of the degree of 芦junior specialist禄 to 芦junior professional bachelor禄 and the activation of the development of the degree of 芦skilled worker禄. It is done in order to facilitate admission for all those who wish, and thus increase the number of 果冻APP students, which in its way will form a base of qualified educated workers who will work in Ukraine.
Roman Korzh emphasizes the importance of cooperation between colleges, vocational schools and higher education institutions in the process of creating integrated curricula that would complement the university program and become a basis for further education, including 果冻APP. So last year 490 students from 10 colleges entered Polytechnic, which is more than 30% of total number of colleges graduates who studied under such programs and were completely ready to deepen their professional knowledge in Polytechnic. The most popular among graduates of colleges and vocational schools were ICSIT and IEM.
