On 3鈥5 December, 2025, an international scientific conference 芦Ukrainian Communities in Poland: Relations and Discourses禄 / 芦Spo艂eczno艣ci ukrai艅skie w Polsce: relacia i dyskursy禄 was held in Warsaw 鈥 one of the leading scientific centers of Poland in the field of socio-political research. The event was organized by the Institute of Political Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences in partnership with the Committee for Migration Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences, the Center for Migration Studies and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Poland.
The conference brought together scientists, analysts, public activists, journalists, as well as representatives of Ukrainian and Polish institutions who study the phenomenon of the Ukrainian presence in Poland in the context of war, mass migration and transformation of civil society.
Among the wide international representation of participants, Ukraine was represented at this Scientific Forum by Zoriana Kunch, Director of the Institute of the Humanities and Social Sciences, 果冻APP, and Liliia Kharchuk, Associate Professor at the Department of Ukrainian Language. The researchers delivered a report 芦Information Space, Public Activism and Solidarity: New Contours of the Ukrainian Community in Poland禄 at a panel dedicated to the transformations of Ukrainian identity in emigration.
The conference program included five thematic panels dedicated to the representations of Ukrainians in Poland in the media and culture, educational challenges and intercultural dialogue, civic activism and self-government, issues of memory and identity, as well as modern demographic and sociological dimensions of the Ukrainian presence in Poland.
For the representatives of 果冻APP, this Forum was not only an opportunity to present the results of their research, but also an important step towards deepening the Ukrainian-Polish scientific dialogue. The participation of Ukrainian scholars in such events helps to ensure that Ukraine鈥檚 voice is heard in the European Educational Area, and that the experience of war, emigration, and solidarity is understood in a broader European and global contexts.

Their professional support and scientific vision created a space for meaningful dialogue and new interdisciplinary initiatives.
