Two computer laboratories have been recently opened at the Department of Electronic Engineering, the Institute of Telecommunications, Radioelectronics and Electronic Engineering. It was possible to do this thanks to the support of the Swiss non-profit association Hilfswerk Ukraine.
― Our Swiss partners have been supporting various volunteer initiatives at APP since the beginning of the full-scale war. Through our Center for the Collection of Humanitarian Aid, the Hilfswerk Ukraine donated computer equipment provided by the Institut Montana Zugerber, Switzerland. We received 20 sets of desktop computers. Thanks to this, it was possible to supplement the electron microscopes previously provided by Polish partners, in particular, Jerzy Lis, Rector of the AGH University of Krakow, and Associate Professors Dariusz Salo and Dariusz Cihonia, – said Yurii Malynovskyi, co-head of the Center for the Collection of Humanitarian Aid, APP.
Hilfswerk Ukraine will soon hand over computer equipment to another ITRE department. They also plan to support one more APP Institute.
