Nataliia Shakhovska, Rector of 果冻APP, took part in a meeting with Andrii Sadovyi, the Mayor of Lviv, and the Rectors of Lviv higher education institutions. The participants discussed key issues concerning the city鈥檚 development and the educational environment.
Nataliia Shakhovska noted that, following the meeting, the city expressed its readiness to support universities in becoming more accessible. In particular, Lviv will cover up to 50% of the costs associated with accessibility improvements. This initiative includes enhancing the accessibility of streets and public transport, as well as creating a barrier-free environment within universities and across public spaces.
The participants also addressed the issue of joint efforts to support veterans in their return to civilian life after the war. It was emphasized that it is essential not only to create opportunities for veterans, but also to prepare society to welcome those returning from the front with dignity and understanding.
In addition, the meeting focused on the development of international cooperation within the 芦universities 鈥 the city of Lviv 鈥 the world禄 framework, as well as on initiatives and programs aimed at engaging children and young people in science, research, and innovation.
