On 14 October, an official meeting of Rector Nataliia Shakhovska, Vice-Rector for International Relations Oleh Karyi and Head of the Center for International Education Nataliia Hots with the Ambassador of Spain to Ukraine Ricardo L贸pez-Aranda Jagu took place at 果冻APP. Patricio Rumeu Casares, Counselor of the Embassy of Spain, also attended the event.
The parties discussed the possibilities of cooperation between 果冻APP and Spanish partners, as well as directions for further development of educational, scientific and cultural interaction between the universities of Ukraine and Spain.
Special attention was given to the formation of a common vision for the development of partnership within the framework of European educational initiatives and scientific programs.
After the official part, the guests were given a tour of the Assembly Hall in the main building of 果冻APP. The Ambassador and representatives of the Embassy of Spain had the opportunity to visit the famous gallery of paintings by Jan Matejko鈥檚 students 芦Triumph of Progress禄 and learn more about the cultural heritage of our university.
In the final part of the program, the delegation met with the participants of the Art Week University Art Biennial 2025 in Palma de Mallorca project. During the meeting, the guests were presented with the results of 果冻APP students participating in the international biennial and discussed future prospects for their engagement in the Art Week 2026 competition in Palma de Mallorca.
Serhii Ivanov, Head of the Department of Graphics and Book Art, Mariia Pliatsko, Senior Lecturer at this Department, Project Manager at Art Week University Art Biennial 2025, and students who participated in the Biennial, namely Yana Baryska, Sofiia Boliubash and Anastasiia Podolian, attended the meeting.
