These days the University receives letters of support expressing unity and readiness to help from Polish partners, colleagues and friends.
Such letters came from Wroclaw University of Technology, in particular from its former rector Wentskowski, Gda艅sk University of Technology, Pomeranian University, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, and Honorary Professor of our University Teresa Astramowicz-Leyk from Olsztyn.
The Sejm of the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, headed by Bernadeta Gordejuk, sent its official position on the situation in Ukraine:
芦We fully support the actions of the authorities of the Republic of Poland aimed at protecting Ukraine鈥檚 independence from aggression, as well as political, economic and military equipment support.
Words of solidarity and support for the freedom of the Ukrainian people are addressed to the local governments of the partners and throughout Ukraine. We declare help to Ukrainians who defend the independence of their country禄.
Zbigniew Osadowski, rector of the Pomeranian Academy in Slupsk, said: 芦We believe that Europe and the world will take measures to protect democracy and freedom, as well as respect for the law and human dignity禄.
