The solemn ceremony of handing over the Bethlehem Fire of Peace took place before the meeting of the University Academic Board. Plast members, including a student of APP, visited our University to share the warmth of the Christmas fire, which is a symbol of peace, love, goodness and has a mission – to unite all Ukrainians.
Yuriy Bobalo, Rector of APP, and Father Yuriy Ostapiuk, Chairman of the Center of Student Chaplains, met the guests. After lighting the lamp that remained at our University, the Plast members sang a festive song. The head of the Polytechnic brought the donated candle to the meeting of the Academic Board.
For the University, the ceremony of handing over the Bethlehem Fire of Peace is an annual tradition.
