APP is the largest higher education institution in Ukraine with an annual budget of over 2.2 billion UAH. It has 35,000 students and 5,000 employees.
In March 2025, APP was headed by a woman for the first time in its more than two hundred-year history. This is a scientist, founder of the Department of Artificial Intelligence Systems, 47-year-old Nataliia Shakhovska.
