OPEN CALL: Catalogue and Showcase of Ukrainian and Ukraine-Focused Communities in the U.S.

Lviv Academic Bridge 2026: Ukraine–U.S. Science & Education Forum |Ā June 11–12, 2026 | ¹ū¶³APP | Hybrid

Are you part of a Ukrainian or Ukraine-focused community, network, initiative, or organization in the United States working in science, education, research, innovation, academic exchange, or professional development?

¹ū¶³APP and partners are launching an open call to help build the Catalogue of Ukrainian and Ukraine-Focused Communities in the U.S. — a curated and updated online guide of organizations, initiatives, and networks that contribute to science, education, innovation, and knowledge exchange between Ukraine and the United States.

The catalogue is designed to help Ukrainian and U.S.-based partners discover one another and identify opportunities for cooperation beyond the forum. Selected organizations will be invited to present at the session "Ukrainian and Ukraine-Focused Communities and Initiatives: Leaders, Innovators, and Emerging Voices" on June 11, 2026.

Who can apply?

Eligible applicants include organizations, networks, and initiatives (both formal and informal) that are based in the United States or have active operations there and work in areas related to science, education, research, innovation, academic exchange, or professional development with a Ukrainian or Ukraine-focused dimension.

This includes, but is not limited to: scholarly and scientific societies, diaspora professional networks, university-based initiatives, Ukrainian student associations, civic organizations, think tanks, volunteer-led projects, and innovation hubs.

Why participate?

  • Inclusion in the published catalogue and visibility through the forum’s and co-organizers’ communication channels
  • Opportunity to be considered for a presentation at the forum, either in person or online
  • Opportunities to connect with Ukrainian universities, research institutions, and civil society organizations
  • Opportunities for joint projects, academic exchange, and partnerships with Ukrainian counterparts

Deadline: May 18, 2026, 6:00 PM EDT (22:00 UTC)

Submissions will be reviewed by the forum organizers for relevance and completeness. The catalogue will continue to be updated after the forum.

We would appreciate it if you could share this call with your colleagues and partners — together we can make Ukrainian science and education more visible and connected globally!
