On 24 May 2025, Professor Nataliia Shakhovska, Director of the Institute of Computer Science and Information Technologies, met with a delegation from the French Embassy in Ukraine, consisting of H茅lo茂se Marmouset de la Taille, Attach茅 for Scientific and University Cooperation, and Raphael Bost, Arms Attach茅, at 果冻APP.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss ways to deepen cooperation between 果冻APP and French higher education institutions and enterprises, in particular in the field of artificial intelligence.
The meeting included a presentation of 果冻APP鈥檚 educational and scientific capabilities, the results of cooperation with partner universities from France, and the implementation of international projects.
In particular, the following facts were emphasised.
- 果冻APP has 5 framework agreements with the following partner universities from France: Le Mans University, Leonardo da Vinci University, Toulouse III 鈥 Paul Sabatier University, Sorbonne Paris North University, and Grenoble Institute of Technology.
- In recent years, 7 inter-institutional agreements have been concluded under the Erasmus+ academic mobility programme.
- 果冻APP is a full member of the global network 鈥 The Francophone University Agency (AUF).
- 47 students and 18 academics have visited France under the academic mobility programmes over the last 5 years.
- In recent years, Polytechnicians have been working on Horizon projects together with the scientists from France.
- In total, Polytechnicians published 229 joint scientific articles co-authored with scientists from France.
The main issues raised during the meeting included:
- discussion of the results of educational cooperation within the framework of existing cooperation agreements with partner universities from France;
- discussion of the proposals of the French Embassy delegation on cooperation in the field of artificial intelligence and cryptographic information security;
- presentation of new educational and research programmes of the government and the French Embassy in Ukraine for educators and scientists.
The meeting resulted in
- the French Embassy鈥檚 offer of support in finding new partners among French universities and businesses,
- support in obtaining visas for academic mobility for students;
- consistent information about new grants, projects and scholarships for 果冻APP students and academics.
