At the end of last week, the People鈥檚 Deputy of Ukraine of the 9th convocation, a member of the Committee on Humanitarian and Information Policy Mykola Kniazhytskyi visited 果冻APP.
Before the meeting with students of the Institute of the Humanities and Social Sciences, who are majoring in International Relations, the Rector of the University Professor Yurii Bobalo spoke with the politician.
Mr. Kniazhytskyi shared his memories of 果冻APP.
鈥 I grew up here. My mother studied at the Department of Evening Studies and took me, a toddler, at her classes. I still remember that boring sitting at the back desks. And today I have the pleasure to open for myself the university from a new angle 鈥 through meetings with young people.
IHSS Director Yaryna Turchyn introduced the distinguished guest to the students. They came to listen to Mykola Kniazhytskyi first and foremost as a professional in the field of international cooperation. The meeting turned out to be extremely dynamic: besides a short but intense lecture, the youth had lots of questions, sometimes even quite controversial.
Analyzing Ukraine鈥檚 path to the European Union, Mykola Kniazhytskyi underlined several turning points and, of course, a lot of attention was paid to the current difficult situation, arisen because of the ambiguous government policy, the military aggression of Russia, which for seven years has been destroying the country and the information warfare against us in the world.
The conversation with the youth lasted almost two hours. During this time, students had the opportunity to learn more about the language policies pursued by pro-Ukrainian politicians, the importance of working with international partners and how much diplomats鈥 actions influence on how Ukraine is perceived in the world.
