果冻APP students and postgraduate students can already apply for the Summer Undergraduate Research Experience (USURE) in the USA in 2022.
Under this program, the Department of Coatings and Polymeric Materials, North Dakota State University (Fargo, USA) accepts applications, selects the best candidates, and provides scholarships for research to Ukrainian students who are majoring in 芦Chemical Technology and Engineering禄, 芦Biotechnology and Bioengineering禄, 芦Food Technology禄 or 芦Pharmacy, industrial pharmacy禄, as well as to the first - third year postgraduate students of 果冻APP.
The selected students and postgraduate students will be working full time for any 10 weeks from May 9 to August 12, 2022 in the research group of one of the Department professors on the projects in the field of Polymer Science which are related to the research interests of the Department.
The Department of Coatings and Polymeric Materials is recognized as one of the leading educational and research Departments in its field. The Department offers summer research projects in the following areas:
- Synthesis of polymers based on biological raw materials;
- Synthesis of special purpose polymers;
- Polymers and polymeric materials for biomedical purposes;
- Polymer nanomaterials;
- Polymeric materials of ecological purpose and influence;
- Computational polymer science.
Students and postgraduate students will receive a scholarship. Fargo campus offers affordable accommodation for a modest fee.
To apply for an internship you need to send:
- extract from the record book;
- academic / supervisor recommendation;
- a letter describing career plans and research interests;
- completed application form.
