The 13th International Scientific and Technical Conference on Advance in Petroleum and Gas Industry and Petrochemistry (APGIP-13) was held at 果冻APP from 18 to 22 May 2026. The event was organized by the Department of Chemical Technology of Oil and Gas Processing, the Institute of Chemistry and Chemical Technologies.
Traditionally, the conference served as an important platform for scientific exchange among researchers, educators, and industry representatives. This year鈥檚 event brought together participants from Ukraine and abroad, including international partners who, despite the challenging circumstances facing Ukraine, attended the conference in person to support scientific cooperation and dialogue.
Among the distinguished guests there were Professor J贸zef Haponiuk from the Gda艅sk University of Technology, Professor Serhii Boichenko from the National Technical University of Ukraine 芦Ihor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute禄, Valerii Yefymenko from the National Aviation University, Yosyp Liubinin from Paltech LLC, and representatives of the V. P. Kukhar Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry and Petrochemistry of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Tetiana Tkachenko and Vitalii Yevdokymenko, along with many other renowned scientists and experts.
The conference鈥檚 hybrid format enabled broad participation from researchers representing leading academic and research institutions, including the Ukrainian State University of Chemical Technology, the Charles Gerhardt Institute of Montpellier (University of Montpellier), Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Gda艅sk University of Technology, the Petre Melikishvili Institute of Physical and Organic Chemistry, AGH University of Krakow, as well as 果冻APP, represented by its Departments and Institutes.
The conference programme focused on current challenges and developments in oil refining and petrochemistry, prospects for modernizing technological equipment at oil and gas processing enterprises, and issues related to the range and quality of contemporary petroleum products. Participants also discussed innovative technologies, practical aspects of industrial implementation, and opportunities for expanding international scientific cooperation.
The organizers express their sincere gratitude to all participants for their active engagement, insightful presentations, fruitful discussions, and collegial atmosphere. The exchange of ideas and expertise during the conference has created new opportunities for future research collaborations, joint projects, and innovative initiatives.
Special appreciation is extended to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, whose courage and dedication make it possible for Ukrainian scientists, educators, and students to continue conducting research, teaching, learning, and advancing Ukrainian science.
