Ihor Kastranets, a third-year student of the College of Information Technologies and the organizer, announced the competition.
Rubik鈥檚 Cube Championship will take place on October 27鈥29 in Lviv. 16 official disciplines will be presented at the competition 鈥 from the simplest (2x2, pyramid, 3x3) to complex and, at first glance, impossible (7x7, megaminx, 5x5 with closed eyes).
These competitions are held under the auspices of the WCA (World Cube Association), which guarantees their fairness and formality. The results of all participants will be recorded in the global results table.
In addition, unofficial disciplines, challenges and quizzes are also planned. During the competition, 500 Rubik鈥檚 Cubes will be used to create portraits of military personnel, volunteers and other people who bring our victory closer.
The organizers will transfer part of the proceeds from the competition to the Superhumans Center, which manufactures prostheses for the military.
