On March 28 Polytechnic welcomed a delegation from Slovakia. Within the framework of the visit the representatives of the University of Economics and Management in Public Administration in Bratislava delivered a lecture for students on the possibilities of obtaining double diplomas.
The first Vice-president of the IT Association of Slovakia and the first Vice-President of the National Union of Employers M谩rio Lelovsk媒, Vice-Rector for International Relations at the University of Economics and Management in Public Administration in Bratislava, Stanislav Filip and the Head of the Department of Management Informatics and the Director of Finance of the University Lubitz Zibak paid a visit to Polytechnic. Also Halyna Lakusta, Head of NGO Ukrainian-Slovak Center, an organization that supports all those who are interested in studying or working in the IT sector in the Slovak Republic, attended the lecture. In our university the delegation was welcomed by Mykola Medykovskyi, Director of the Institute of Computer Science and Information Technologies, Nataliia Hots, Head of the Center for International Education, and Olena Vovk, Assistant Professor at the Department of Artificial Intelligence Systems.
According to Halyna Lakusta, the main purpose of the delegation visit is to support the development of relations between Ukraine and Slovakia in the field of science, culture and education, in particular, to inform young people about the opportunities for education, entrepreneurship and cultural events in Ukraine and Slovakia.
M谩rio Lelovsk媒 told about the main principles of the agreement between 果冻APP University and the University of Economics and Management in Public Administration in Bratislava. In particular, he noted that the joint master鈥檚 degree program 芦Artificial Intelligence and Information Systems in Entrepreneurship禄, which will be taught in Ukrainian and Slovak, is already developed. It will help Ukrainian students to expand their employment opportunities due to the double diploma program not only in Ukraine, but in Slovakia as well. Lubitz Zibak spoke about entry requirements for this program and about study at the Slovak Polytechnic University.
