On June 18Yurii Bobalo, University Rector, Nataliya Chukhray, Vice-Rector for Education and International Relations, and Nataliia Hots, Head of Center for International Education, met with Alisher Kurmanov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan, at 果冻APP.
At the meeting, they discussed ways to establish cooperation between 果冻APP and higher education institutions in Uzbekistan, in particular with one of the oldest universities in the country 鈥 Samarkand State University. It was primarily talked about the academic mobility of students, researchers and academic staff. The possibility of double diplomas programs was also discussed.
In addition, Ambassador Alisher Kurmanov shared further plans for the development of higher education institutions in Uzbekistan, which open branches of prestigious universities, including 果冻APP.
Vice-Rector Nataliya Chukhray stressed a number of opportunities for international students who study at 果冻APP and suggested holding online working meetings with Heads of higher education institutions in Uzbekistan to discuss opportunities for cooperation in more detail.
