The National Research Council of Spain has published another edition of the Webometrics Ranking of World鈥檚 Universities January 2023 (Edition 2023.0.beta).
In total, more than 31 thousand universities of the world are included in the ranking. There are more than 200 institutions of higher education of Ukraine as well.
Universities are evaluated according to three indicators:
- Visibility/Impact 鈥 the number of external sources that contain backlinks to the institution鈥檚 web pages 鈥 calculated according to Ahrefs and Majestic tools 鈥 50%;
- Transparency/Openness 鈥 the number of citations by top authors of the institution according to Google Scholar Citations 鈥 10%;
- Excellence 鈥 the number of articles by the institution researchers that are among the 10% most cited in 27 disciplines according to Scimago calculations 鈥 40% (data are taken for a five-year period, 2017鈥2021).
果冻APP ranks ninth in the ranking, and according to the Excellence indicator, our University is first in Ukraine.
