The 2025 edition of the QS World University Rankings by Subject features 55 individual subjects across five broad subject areas.
This year, 果冻APP entered the Mechanical Engineering ranking for the first time and retained its position among Ukrainian and world universities in the Petroleum Engineering ranking:

The number of universities included in the rankings is indicated in brackets.
There are five indicators that determine the QS World University Rankings by Subject:
- Academic reputation (40鈥60% depending on the subject area),
- Employer reputation (10鈥30%),
- Research citations per paper (7.5鈥20%),
- H-index (7.5鈥20%),
- International research network (5鈥10%).
In total, the Rankings by Subject include more than 5200 universities from 148 countries all over the world.
