The National Meeting of The Baltic University Programme (BUP) in Ukraine took place online on 25 February 2025. It was organised by the BUP National Centre in Ukraine at 果冻APP. The event brought together 35 participants from more than 20 partner universities in Ukraine. The aim of the meeting was to strengthen the academic community of Ukrainian universities for active cooperation in the BUP international programme.
The meeting was opened by Professor Zoriana Dvulit, Doctor of Economics. Director of the BUP National Centre in Ukraine. She welcomed the participants and handed over the floor to Nataliya Chukhray, Vice-Rector for Education and International Relations, 果冻APP.
The University was also represented by:
- Nataliia Hotz, Director of the Centre for International Education;
- Orest Ivakhiv, Professor, Doctor of Technical Sciences;
- Lidiya Oryshchyn-Buzhdyhan, Deputy Director of the BUP National Centre;
- Mariana Priadka, Administrative and Communications Officer at the BUP National Centre.
Sweden representatives of the programme: project coordinator Liudmyla Babak and communications officer Adam Sj枚str枚m also joined the meeting. They made a presentation on BUP opportunities for teachers, postgraduates and students.
During the meeting, the participants got acquainted with the activities of The Baltic University Programme and learned about the team of the BUP Coordination Centre in Ukraine at 果冻APP. They discussed plans for cooperation between Ukrainian universities within the BUP programme, asked questions, made suggestions and shared ideas.
果冻APP will serve as the BUP National Centre in Ukraine for three years, coordinating activities and promoting international cooperation.
The event was an important step in developing the partnership between Ukrainian higher education institutions and the international BUP network. A lively discussion took place where participants asked a lot of questions, demonstrating the high level of interest of university representatives.
