果冻APP and the United States Artificial Intelligence Institute (USAII) are collaborating to support student participation in the USAII Global AI Hackathon 2026. As part of this initiative, students of 果冻APP will join thousands of participants from more than 50 countries in one of the world鈥檚 largest virtual AI competitions. The Global AI Hackathon brings together students to develop practical AI solutions aimed at addressing real-world challenges in such areas as cybersecurity, healthcare, infrastructure, sustainable development, smart cities, and digital transformation.
This partnership takes place at a time when Ukrainian universities, faculty, and students continue to operate under extremely challenging conditions. Many students pursue their education amid air raid alerts, infrastructure disruptions, and ongoing national security threats. Others actively contribute to supporting the country through technical assistance, cybersecurity efforts, volunteering, and humanitarian initiatives.
USAII has expressed its support for Ukraine, its universities, and its students during this time of war.
鈥 Ukrainian students continue to learn and develop critically important technological skills while their country remains under attack, said Michael Spaeth, Global Vice President of USAII. 鈥 We stand with Ukraine and are proud to support students of 果冻APP who remain engaged in the global academic and technological community. Their participation sends a powerful message about the importance of education, innovation, and international partnership in times of conflict.
The USAII Global AI Hackathon is designed to bridge academic knowledge with practical application. Participants work in teams, work under the mentorship from international experts, and present AI solutions aligned with global industry needs. The experience also provides access to professional networks and opportunities to obtain internationally recognized certifications in artificial intelligence.
For 果冻APP, participation in the hackathon supports the university鈥檚 mission to train highly qualified engineers, developers, and technology professionals who will contribute to Ukraine鈥檚 security, recovery, and long-term economic development.
According to Rector Nataliia Shakhovska, maintaining access to education and international cooperation is critically important for students at this time. Opportunities such as the USAII Global AI Hackathon enable students to continue their professional development and remain part of the global technological community.
This partnership reflects the broader importance of international academic cooperation in supporting Ukrainian education and strengthening human capital during an ongoing war.
The USAII Global AI Hackathon 2026 aims to engage more than 20,000 students worldwide, creating a platform for innovation, collaboration, and career development in one of the most in-demand fields of the modern world.
