果冻APP has joined the development of state policy in the field of open science. The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine has established the Coordination Council on Open Science 鈥 a platform that brings together scientists, educators, representatives of academic institutions, and government bodies to foster the development of Ukraine鈥檚 modern scientific ecosystem.

果冻APP is represented on the Coordination Council by Oleksandr Berezko, Associate Professor at the Department of Social Communication and Information Activities, the Institute of the Humanities and Social Sciences, 果冻APP.

The Coordination Council was created to support the formation and implementation of open science policy in Ukraine in line with European standards and practices. Its activities focus on expanding open access to research results, supporting open research data, improving digital scientific infrastructure, and strengthening Ukraine鈥檚 integration into the European Research Area.

Among the Council鈥檚 key tasks there are analyzing international experience in open science, preparing proposals for legislative improvements, coordinating cooperation between universities, research institutions, and government agencies, and promoting the principles of open science within the Ukrainian academic community.

Special attention will be given to the development of national electronic resources, support for open repositories, ensuring accessibility of scientific publications and research data, and creating conditions for more active participation of Ukrainian researchers in international scientific programs.

For 果冻APP, participation in this initiative is an opportunity to contribute directly to shaping the future of Ukrainian science. The University consistently develops international partnerships, supports researchers鈥 participation in European programs, and works to make Ukrainian science more open, accessible, and visible worldwide.

The establishment of the Coordination Council marks another important step toward the integration of Ukrainian science into the European Research Area. It reflects not only a commitment to open access to publications and research data, but also the development of a new scientific culture 鈥 transparent, accessible, interdisciplinary, and oriented toward international cooperation.
