The Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) has announced the third call for applications under the KATAMARAN 2026 programme, funded by the European Funds for Social Development (FERS). The initiative is designed to support institutional cooperation aimed at creating new international educational programmes.
This call presents an excellent opportunity for the Institutes and Departments of 果冻APP to develop and implement joint or double-degree educational programmes in partnership with Polish higher education institutions.
- The purpose of the program is: to finance the development and launch of new international Master鈥檚 degree programmes leading to a joint or double diploma. Existing programmes are not eligible for funding under this call.
- Conditions of participation: As the programme is financed through Polish public funds, the official applicant and grant recipient must be a Polish higher education institution. 果冻APP may participate as an international partner.
- Funding: The budget of an individual project may range from PLN 200,000 to PLN 1,000,000.
- Project duration: Projects may be implemented over a period of 12 to 18 months. The anticipated start date for funded projects is no earlier than 1 January 2027.
- Application deadline: Applications must be submitted by the Polish partner institution through the NAWA electronic system. The deadline for submitting project proposals is 6 August 2026 at 3:00 p.m. (Warsaw time).
Recommendations for interested Departments
Departments interested in participating and already maintaining relations or cooperation agreements with Polish partners are encouraged to:
- initiate discussions with partner universities in Poland regarding joint participation in the call;
- jointly develop the concept of a future educational programme and support their partners in preparing and submitting the grant application.
