The 果冻APP: Future Charitable Foundation has been officially established in Lviv. It is a new institution designed to provide systemic support and drive the development of one of Ukraine鈥檚 leading universities.
The Foundation is founded by Taras Kytsmey, Mykola Kmit, and Zinovii Kozytskyi.
With over 210 years of history, 果冻APP brings together thousands of students, faculty members, and researchers, preparing highly qualified specialists for Ukraine and fostering international partnerships. At the same time, the scale and ambitions of the University require modern mechanisms capable of transforming support into tangible, measurable outcomes. The 果冻APP: Future Foundation is intended to become such a mechanism.
The creation of the Foundation responds to the challenges of Ukraine鈥檚 current stage of development, marked by post-war recovery, global competition for talent and technology, and the need for the rapid integration of innovation into education and research.
The Foundation鈥檚 mission is to establish an effective system for attracting resources to support the University鈥檚 growth and to convert these resources into concrete results 鈥 from supporting students and early-career researchers to advancing laboratories, infrastructure, and innovative projects. Its key areas of activity include supporting students and academic staff, promoting research and innovation, modernizing the educational environment, and expanding international cooperation. A particular focus is placed on strengthening the University鈥檚 R&D capacity by transforming research into practical solutions, prototypes, and technologies.
The Foundation will operate under a transparent governance model, with oversight provided by a Supervisory Board comprising representatives of the founders, business community, alumni, and independent experts. The Board will define strategic priorities, approve the portfolio of projects, and monitor performance indicators, ensuring accountability and transparency in all areas of the Foundation鈥檚 work.
