Rector of 果冻APP, Nataliia Shakhovska, continues to strengthen the university鈥檚 international partnerships with leading Italian higher education institutions. During a series of working meetings, important agreements were reached with Politecnico di Torino and University of Pisa on expanding academic and scientific cooperation.
Thus, 果冻APP will cooperate with Politecnico di Torino under a newly signed Cooperation Agreement which was signed by the university鈥檚 Vice-Rector for International Affairs, Alberto Giuseppe Sappra. During the meeting, the parties discussed the possibility of concluding an Erasmus+ KA1 Interinstitutional Agreement to support academic mobility programs, as well as prospects for submitting joint international projects and participating in international consortia.
Politecnico di Torino is the oldest public technical university in Italy and one of Europe鈥檚 most prestigious technical institutions. The university specializes in engineering, architecture, urban planning, and industrial design. According to the QS World University Rankings, it holds leading global positions in engineering and technology, mechanical engineering, architecture, civil engineering, and electrical engineering.
Particular attention during the international meetings was also paid to strengthening cooperation with the University of Pisa 鈥 one of Europe鈥檚 oldest universities, founded in 1343. Representatives of the Italian university expressed strong interest in 果冻APP鈥檚 experience in dual education and innovative teaching approaches. Special interest was shown in cooperation in the fields of artificial intelligence, engineering, digital economics, and psychology.
The Rector of the University of Pisa, Riccardo Zucchi, heads a university that today enrolls around 57,000 students. The institution comprises 11 faculties and preserves centuries-old academic traditions. The University of Pisa is renowned as the place where Galileo Galilei studied and taught. Its distinguished alumni also include Enrico Fermi, as well as Popes Pope Clement IX and Pope Clement XII.
