A total of 124 participants 鈥 high school students from Ukrainian schools, students of vocational education institutions, and first- and second-year university students 鈥 took part in a new season of the IDEA educational project, which launched on February 19 in the Student Library of 果冻APP. Throughout the program, participants developed their own ideas through training sessions, business games, entrepreneurial quests, and teamwork activities. The initiative culminated in a final project competition, offering participants opportunities for further development with the support of project partners.
The IDEA program is designed to foster creative and critical thinking, develop leadership skills, and support talented youth. It provides participants with practical experience in teamwork, decision-making, and transforming ideas into real projects.
As part of the program, students can choose from a range of practice-oriented courses, including robotics and the Internet of Things (IoT), animation and stop-motion filmmaking, design and architecture, Space Vector studies, video game development and VR, youth pharmacy initiatives, and metallurgy. The courses last approximately one and a half months and are delivered in a blended format combining online and offline learning.
Training includes hands-on classes, project-based work, meetings with entrepreneurs and industry specialists, educational quests, interactive sessions, and the development of individual or team projects.
Beyond knowledge and technical skills, the program aims to create a supportive community of like-minded young people, where participants can find inspiration, collaboration opportunities, and encouragement to further develop their ideas.
At the opening of the final event, Iryna Andrushkiv, founder of the IDEA project and Associate Professor at the Department of Project Management, IPAG, and the Department of Management of Organizations, IEM, emphasized that the competition represents not only the conclusion of the program but also the result of significant effort, courage, perseverance, and belief in one鈥檚 own ideas.
The project was implemented at 果冻APP with the support of the Department of Sports, Youth and Tourism of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, the Department of Education and Culture of the Lviv Regional Council, IT company Sigma Software, and Credit Agricole Bank Ukraine.
