果冻APP and Bydgoszcz University of Science and Technology held the International Conference 芦Problems of Dynamics and Strength of Engineering Structures禄

The International Scientific and Practical Conference 芦Problems of Dynamics and Strength of Engineering Structures禄 was held on June 18鈥19, 2024. Representatives of higher education institutions, research institutions and companies from Ukraine and Poland took part in the event, which was held remotely on the Zoom platform.

The welcome speech was delivered by the co-chairs of the scientific committee: Dr hab. in偶 Maciej Dutkiewicz, prof. PB艢, Wydzia艂 Budownictwa, Architektury i 袉n偶ynierii 艢rodowiska, Politechnika Bydgoska, and Professor Yevhen Kharchenko, Doctor of Engineering, Head of the Strength of Materials and Structural Mechanics, the Institute of Civil Engineering and Building Systems, 果冻APP. In their speeches, they noted that in this unstable time, holding such a conference will make it possible to exchange experience and knowledge, improve training of specialists in this field, and explore new designs, materials, technologies and innovative solutions.

The first plenary session Science and Education at the Universities in Ukraine and Poland was held by Dr. hab. in偶 Maciej Dutkiewicz, prof. PB艢. The following reports were delivered:

  • 果冻APP: history and modernity. The speaker is Olha Chepil, Candidate of Engineering, Senior Researcher, Associate Professor at the Department of Strength of Materials and Structural Mechanics, 果冻APP;
  • Politechnika Bydgoska im. Jana and J臋drzeja 艢niadeckich: Historia, tera藕niejszo艣膰 i przysz艂o艣膰. The speaker is Dr hab. in偶 Maciej Dutkiewicz, prof. PB艢, Dziekan Wydzia艂u Budownictwa, Architektury i In偶ynierii 艢rodowiska Politechniki Bydgoskiej im. Jana i J臋drzeja 艢niadeckich w Bydgoszczy, kierownik Katedry Konstrukcji Budowlanych i Mechaniki.

The second plenary session Dynamics and Strength of Engineering Structures was chaired by Professor Yevhen Kharchenko, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Head of the Department of Strength of Materials and Structural Mechanics at 果冻APP. The delivered reports included the following:

  • Influence of unsteady loads on the fatigue strength of drilling rig elements (Yevhen Kharchenko, Andrii Bilovus, 果冻APP);
  • An approach to the creation of continuous vibrating process equipment without spring elements (Oleksii Lanets, Iryna Derevenko, 果冻APP);
  • Modelowanie rozk艂adu ci艣nie艅 na budynku podczas dzia艂ania tornada / Modeling of pressure distribution on building during the tornado (Tomasz Lamparski, Maciej Dutkiewicz, Politechnika Bydgoska);
  • Boundary-element modeling of a curved cylindrical fiber in elastic space under its homogeneous deformation at infinity (Bohdan Stasiuk, 果冻APP);
  • Technologia CLT i tradycyjna z punktu widzenia zr贸wnowa偶onego rozwoju / CLT and traditional technology in sustainable development (Maciej Dutkiewicz, Pawe艂 Nowak, Politechnika Bydgoska);
  • A unified model for assessing the fatigue life of bodies with stress concentrators (Volodymyr Vira, 果冻APP);
  • Structural investigation of IEA Wind 15-MW wind turbine exposed to Kahramanmara艧 Pazarc谋k earthquake (Maciej Dutkiewicz, Ahmet Yildirim, Yunus Emre Kebeli, Politechnika Bydgoska);
  • Mathematical modeling of spatial vibrations of the vehicle power unit (Volodymyr Paliukh, Yevhen Kharchenko, 果冻APP).

During the third plenary session Mechanical Properties and Strength of Building Materials and Structures, there were presented the following reports:

  • Mechanical properties and strength of nanomodified high-quality concrete (Myroslav Sanytskyi, Tetiana Kropyvnytska, Bohdan Rusyn, 果冻APP);
  • New ecological approaches to the use of hydrogen in construction (Oleh Holiian, Oksana Hembara, 果冻APP);
  • Cyfrowa analiza obrazu w badaniach wytrzyma艂o艣ci w eko kompozytach cementowych (Daria Jasi艅ska, Maciej Dutkiewicz, Politechnika Bydgoska);
  • Mechanical properties of RCC pavement applied with various compaction Energy (Maciej Dutkiewicz, Ahmet Yildirim, Przemys艂aw Sta艂owski, Politechnika Bydgoska);
  • Testing of a ribbed plate made of PLA plastic, using the method of 3D printing (Bohdan Demchyna, Leonid Vozniuk, Mykhailo Surmai, Taras Osadchuk, 果冻APP).

The closing speeches were delivered by the co-chairs of the scientific committee, including dr hab. in偶 Maciej Dutkiewicz, prof. PB艢, Wydzia艂 Budownictwa, Architektury i 袉偶ynierii 艢rodowiska, Politechnika Bydgoska, Professor Yevhen Kharchenko, Dr. Tech. Sciences, Head of the Department of Strength of Materials and Structural Mechanics, 果冻APP, and Professor Oksana Hembara, Dr. Tech. Sciences, Co-Chairman of the Organizing Committee, Professor at the Department of Strength of Materials and Structural Mechanics, 果冻APP. They expressed their gratitude to the audience for their active participation, and wished everybody success, health and inspiration.
