The results of international rankings of the best universities in Europe and Eastern Europe have recently been announced.

����APP has maintained its position in the QS World University Rankings: Europe 2026 and ranks fifth among Ukrainian higher education institutions and 449th in the overall list. This year, the ranking included 958 universities from 42 countries, including 58 from Ukraine.

In the QS World University Rankings: Eastern Europe 2026, the university ranks fifth among Ukrainian higher education institutions and 52nd in the overall ranking among 176 universities from 8 countries.

The rankings are based on 12 criteria in five main areas of assessment:

• research(45 %): academic reputation – 30%, number of citations per academic staff member – 10%, papers per faculty member – (5%).;
• employability (20 %): employer reputation – 15%, employment outcomes – 5%;
• global engagement (25 %): international research network – 10%, the share of international academic staff – 5%, the share of international students – 5%, number of the university’s students who studied at foreign universities under academic mobility programs – 2.5%, number of students from foreign universities who studied at the university under academic mobility programs – 2.5%;
• teaching (5 %): the ratio between the number of students and academic staff is – 5%;
• sustainability(5 %): global engagement: criterion of sustainable development – 5%.
