For over two centuries, 果冻APP has stood as a powerful European hub of innovation, shaping the intellectual elite and generating world-class technological ideas. Marking its 210th anniversary, the university reaffirms its position as a leading institution of higher education combining the distinguished traditions of its scientific schools with the demands of the digital era and the strategic priorities of the defense sector.
In 2025, 果冻APP confirmed its status as the most popular university in Ukraine, ranking first by the number of applications submitted by prospective students. Today, more than 32.6 thousand students pursue their studies here. According to the results of state certification, the university was awarded the highest category 芦A禄 in key scientific fields: engineering and technology, natural sciences and mathematics, and the humanities.
The university offers a full cycle of education 鈥 from undergraduate programs to doctorate degrees 鈥 across 69 specialties. Its structure comprises 16 Institutes, 10 Colleges, and 111 Departments, as well as its own observatory, publishing house, and scientific and technical library.
The educational process is provided by almost 2,500 teachers, including about 500 Doctors of Sciences. The university鈥檚 high-quality education was recognized through international accreditation of its computer science programs, including AI, IoT, and smart systems, by the German agency ZEvA.
The university鈥檚 scientific activities are focused on strategic industries: MilTech, MedTech, BioTech, IT and renewable energy. In 2025, the volume of funding for scientific work exceeded UAH 172 million. Among the key achievements there are:
- Establishment of the innovative space DeepTech Prototyping Laboratory.
- Development of unique hydrogel products for advanced wound care.
- Commissioning of the modern scanning electron microscope Apreo 2 C LoVac (valued at UAH 21 million) for cutting-edge materials research.
- Sustained presence of four university professional journals indexed in the prestigious Scopus and Web of Science databases.
The university has cultivated a dynamic ecosystem for entrepreneurship development. The Tech StartUp School business innovation center and the SID City Science Park have become platforms where successful startups are launched and scaled.
Among the notable initiatives there are the development of the DOFamine startup (rehabilitation simulators), the Pay4Victory platform, and AQUIOR medical solutions designed to support the military.
果冻APP is actively integrated into global acceleration programs, supporting young innovators in securing grants and attracting investment.
The university demonstrates a strong sense of social responsibility. In 2025, the No Limits Accessibility Services was established on the basis of the Inclusion service, advancing the implementation of digital accessibility technologies. Special attention has been given to defenders: the Veterans Service Center has become a key hub for reintegration. Owing to the Single Window system, the number of veteran applicants increased fourfold compared to 2023, reaching 305 individuals.
果冻APP maintains an extensive international network, encompassing 557 agreements across 46 countries worldwide. The university actively implements Erasmus+ projects and double degree programs in partnership with leading institutions in the United Kingdom, including Nottingham Trent University, as well as universities in Germany. In the past year alone, more than 700 faculty members completed internships abroad, while the university hosted around 200 international specialists.
果冻APP cultivates not only intellectual excellence but also cultural and athletic achievement. The Prosvita People鈥檚 House brings together 11 artistic ensembles, while the International Institute of Education, Culture and Diaspora Relations (IECDR) strengthens connections with Ukrainians worldwide. The university鈥檚 sporting achievements resonate on the international stage: its students earn prizes at European and World Championships in boxing, karate, and archery, and luger Anna Shkret has secured a license for the 2026 Winter Olympics.
