On January 19, 2026, three study groups for Latvian language, culture, and traditions began their work at the initiative of the Ukrainian National Center of the The Baltic University Programme, located at 果冻APP, with the support of the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Latvia in Lviv and the public organization 鈥淚nternational Society of Ukrainian-Latvian Friendship鈥.
The classes started despite the challenging conditions of wartime鈥攅ven during power outages鈥攄emonstrating the participants鈥 high motivation and strong interest. Most of聽 the participants are academic staff, students, and employees of 果冻APP, as well as attendees from Kyiv and other cities in Ukraine.
It is important to emphasize that these study groups are part of the systematic cooperation with the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Latvia in Lviv and is a practical implementation of the announced initiatives within the framework of 鈥Latvia Days at 果冻APP鈥, dedicated to the Independence Day of the Republic of Latvia and the 20th anniversary of the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Latvia in Lviv.
These studies are not only about learning the language but also about deepening intercultural dialogue, strengthening academic and friendly ties between Ukraine and Latvia, and taking another step towards European educational integration.
