On March 3, 2026, an “Evening with European Youth Ambassadors” was held in the student area of the library of APP as part of the EU_LEAD project. The event was held in collaboration with representatives of the European Youth Ambassadors initiative, namely Anastasia Shkil, who studies at APP.
The event began with a welcome speech by Yaryna Turchyn, head of the EU_LEAD project. Participants then moved on to an interactive session on opportunities for volunteering, professional development, and youth leadership within the YEAs program and a presentation of the representative's own experience with this initiative.
Of particular interest was the presentation “Opportunities for Youth from the EU,” during which YEAs ambassador Anastasia Shkil and Yulia Vaida (participant in the EU_LEAD project) spoke about current opportunities for young people from the European Union, including Erasmus+ youth exchanges, Erasmus Mundus, studying at the College of Europe, and others.
Students competed in a Kahoot quiz on their knowledge of the European Union. The winners were awarded themed prizes from the European Youth Ambassadors initiative.
The second part of the event was organized by EU_LEAD project participants Yaryna Turchyn, Olga Ivaschenko, and Oleg Tsebenko, where students depicted Ukraine's contribution to the development of the European Union and its resilience in solving contemporary global problems of humanity in the form of their own original drawings.
The event was attended by students of various specialties from APP, who were actively interested in the selection criteria for participation in Erasmus+ academic mobility programs and other EU initiatives for young people. A total of 51 people took part in the event.
The EU_LEAD project team would like to thank all participants in the event and representatives of the European Youth Ambassadors initiative for forming a youth network to spread knowledge about the EU and EU opportunities for young people in Ukraine.
