Dear Polytechnicians,

I warmly extend my sincere greetings on the great and holy feast of the Resurrection of Christ 鈥 a celebration that was, has been and is as a source of spiritual strength, renewal, and unwavering hope. Easter touches the deepest chords of the human soul, reminding us of the enduring values upon which our world rests: love, sacrifice, mercy, forgiveness, dignity, truth, and hope.

Today, we are living through a time when the highest values 鈥 human life and peace 鈥 are increasingly challenged. We witness the destruction of destinies, the erosion of human dignity, and the testing of fundamental principles such as mutual respect, responsibility, and reverence for the God-given gift of life and land. We live in an era when darkness often seeks to overshadow light, and falsehood to drown out truth. It is precisely for this reason that turning our hearts to the meaning of the Resurrection has never been more essential.

The Resurrection of Christ reminds us of the profound and immeasurable cost of redemption. It teaches us that the path to light passes through Golgotha, that truth, love, and salvation must be defended, and that genuine renewal is born through sacrifice, faith, and fidelity to a higher purpose.

At its core, the Resurrection carries a timeless message: death does not have the final word, evil is not ultimate, and suffering is not without hope. After darkness comes light, after pain 鈥 healing, and after trials 鈥 rebirth. Easter thus stands as a powerful affirmation of life鈥檚 triumph over death, good over evil, love over hatred, and light over darkness.

For us, Ukrainians, this truth resonates with particular depth and urgency. We know the cost of struggle, the value of freedom, and the price of human courage, sacrifice, and devotion to our homeland. Even in the most difficult moments of our history, we are sustained not only by strength of arms, but by strength of spirit 鈥 by faith in truth, love for one another, and hope in divine providence.

During these sacred Easter days, we offer our prayers for peace, for Ukraine, for our defenders, and for all who suffer, wait, fight, serve, heal, and support others. We pray for every Ukrainian family 鈥 for those far from home, for those who have endured loss, and for those who, despite all trials, continue to believe, to love, and to build the future.

May the feast of the Resurrection of Christ remind each of us that we are never abandoned, even in the darkest hour; that after the crucifixion comes the dawn of Resurrection, and after great suffering comes great hope. May the light of Easter enter your homes, fill your hearts with peace, strengthen your faith, and inspire you to live, work, learn, support one another, and carry light within you.

Christ is Risen!

Truly He is Risen!
