At the competition for the Lviv IT Cluster鈥檚 Artificial Intelligence Systems program at 果冻APP there were seven people per place. One of the entrants, and now a student, Olena Kshyk, got the highest 800 points in the national multi-subject test. This year there are only seven such entrants in the whole of Ukraine.
Another educational program of the Lviv IT Cluster that is in no less demand is cybersecurity. 果冻APP received 1493 applications for 250 places. The competition was five people per place.
In general, every second entrant for technical specialties chose one of the IT Cluster鈥檚 programs, which is 51% of entrants, which is 7% more than last year. 果冻APP has eight such programs: in addition to the already mentioned cybersecurity and artificial intelligence systems, there are also Internet of Things, robotics, distributed information systems and technologies, systems analysis, IT product management, publishing and printing.
鈥 The results of the admissions campaign show that, despite the difficult conditions, interest in IT specialties remains high. We are inspired that such a significant number of entrats have chosen Lviv IT Cluster programs. This means that our educational initiatives meet the modern challenges and expectations of young people. Today, we aim not only to provide students with knowledge and practical experience, but also to develop their entrepreneurial skills. This is necessary so that they can create their own projects and startups and thus not only be in demand in a competitive market, but also stimulate the development of the tech industry禄, says Yuliia Tsymbala, Head of the Lviv IT Cluster鈥檚 educational team.
Despite the challenges of the war and the general decline in the number of entrants in Ukraine, the level of students choosing Lviv IT Cluster programs is steadily growing. This is not only due to high entrance scores, but also to their activity, entrepreneurial ambitions, and creative potential. Entrants choose the Cluster鈥檚 programs because of the opportunity to receive a modern education that meets market requirements and enables them to create innovative projects and startups.
