From 14 to 22 February 2026, Bachelor’s and Master’s students majoring in 274 Road Transport, 275.02 and 275.03 Transport Technologies at the Institute of Mechanical Engineering and Transport, APP, took part in an academic mobility program at the International University of Logistics and Transport in Wroclaw.
As part of the NAWA program, students studied the course on Artificial Intelligence in Logistics and Supply Chains and got acquainted with modern approaches to route planning and dispatching, digital logistics management tools and AI application cases in transport systems.
The lectures took place in a comfortable atmosphere of friendly debates and examples, students showed a high level of activity and understanding of the processes. According to the results of the testing, all Polytechnicians passed the course with excellent grades.
Mobility funding was provided by the European Social Development Fund 2021–2027 within the framework of the NAWA project «Support for the creation and implementation of international educational programs» (No. FERS.01.05-IP.08–0436/23).
Coordinators from APP, Associate Professors Khrystyna Barvinska and Roman Kachmar, held a series of meetings aimed at strengthening institutional cooperation between the university and the International University of Logistics and Transport in Wroclaw. During the visit, they explored best practice-oriented teaching methods and familiarized themselves with the laboratory facilities of MWSLiT with a view to their possible implementation at APP. In particular, these include transport and logistics process modeling, GPS navigation systems, vehicle diagnostics, and environmental research technologies.
