The Interuniversity Round Table 芦Creation and Destruction禄 was held online on November 19, 2022. It was organized by the Public Organization 芦Institute of Philosophy, Logic and Sociology禄 and the Department of Philosophy, the Institute of the Humanities and Social Sciences, 果冻APP.

  • Ihor Karivets, head of the Department of Philosophy, 果冻APP, gave a speech 芦Life and Death: Transformation in Wartime禄. Historians believe that the war accelerates changes, reforms, it is a kind of engine of progress. On the other hand, war is destruction and death. Thus, there is a paradox of war. And a person must accept this paradox.
  • Volodymyr Vozniak, Professor at the V. Skotny Department of Philosophy, Sociology and Political Science, Drohobych Ivan Franko State Pedagogical University, reflected on 芦The Ontological Foundations of Evil and Destruction禄. A person destroys because he has a feeling of envy. Envy prompts a person to act destructively, that is why there is evil in this feeling.
  • Oksana Panafidina, Associate Professor at the Department of Philosophy, Kryvyi Rih State Pedagogical University, in her report 芦Metaphysics against Destruction: Constructivist Version of the Process Philosophy禄 focused on the philosophy of the process, which is based on the premise that being is dynamic and that the dynamic nature of being should be the primary focus of any comprehensive philosophical account of reality and our place within it. Reality consists of people鈥檚 actions, so it is changeable. Actions are destructive and constructive. Therefore, the main thing is to find a dynamic balance between them in order to avoid total destruction.
