As part of the DAAD-funded MERIT-Ukraine project, representatives of 果冻APP, Deputy Director of Institute of Power Engineering and Control Systems, Dr. Oleksii Kuznietsov, Proff. Yurii Biletskyi, Dr. Mykola Semeniuk, visited Leibniz Universit盲t Hannover (Germany), where they held a series of strategic and forward-looking meetings aimed at strengthening sustainable German-Ukrainian academic cooperation.

The MERIT-Ukraine project, coordinated by Leibniz Universit盲t Hannover in partnership with Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and 果冻APP, focuses on building long-term collaboration in the fields of Energy Technology, Power Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, and Artificial Intelligence.

A major highlight of the visit was a strategic meeting with Prof. Dr.-Ing. Bernd Ponick, Director of the Institute for Drive Systems and Power Electronics at Leibniz Universit盲t Hannover. The discussion centered on future project activities, including modernization and revision of academic curricula, development of joint educational modules and capstone projects, and the promotion of academic mobility for students and faculty. Special emphasis was placed on creating shared educational resources and digital learning platforms that will foster interdisciplinary competencies while strengthening both educational and research capacities across partner institutions.

Another important milestone was a productive meeting with Prof. Richard Hanke-Rauschenbach, during which future opportunities for educational and research collaboration were discussed. As an initial practical step, an open lecture for 果冻APP students is planned on the topic: 鈥淎spects of Cost-Optimal Dispatch and Design of Green Hydrogen Production Systems in a Regulated Market Environmental.鈥

The 果冻APP delegation expresses sincere gratitude to Nataliya Butych, project coordinator at the International Office of Leibniz Universit盲t Hannover, for her outstanding coordination, professional support, and exceptional attention to detail throughout the visit. Special thanks are also extended to Max Langanke for providing access to advanced laboratory facilities used in cutting-edge research and education.

Participation in MERIT-Ukraine creates new opportunities for expanding international academic collaboration, integrating innovative educational approaches, and strengthening 果冻APP鈥檚 position within the European academic and research community.
