On November 11鈥12, 2021, Oksana Horda, Oksana Trumko, Halyna Temnyk and Oksana Halaichuk, researchers at the International Institute of Education, Culture and Diaspora Relations, 果冻APP, took part in the International Scientific Conference 芦Resettlement of Ukrainians in the Former Yugoslavia禄 (Serbia, Novi Sad).
Participants from Italy, Kazakhstan, Canada, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Hungary, Ukraine and Croatia took part in the conference.
The IECDR team presented the educational activities of the Institute. Halyna Temnyk and Oksana Halaichuk presented the concept of a linguistics textbook on the Ukrainian language as a foreign language (based on IECDR textbooks), and Oksana Horda and Oksana Trumko acquainted the participants with educational resources, ways of organizing the educational process and forms of conducting classes at the International School of Ukrainian Studies 芦Step to Ukraine禄 by IECDR.
There were positive comments from international colleagues about educational resources for learning Ukrainian as a foreign language, created by IECDR authors (textbook 芦Key to Ukraine: cities and people禄, educational portal 芦Step to Ukraine禄), which Ukrainian teachers at international universities use in classes with their students.
During the two days of the conference, employees of our Institute had the opportunity to learn about the history of the formation and development of Ukrainian studies in Serbia and Croatia, the problems of intercultural cooperation in the context of cooperation between the Balkans and Ukraine, activities of iconic figures for Ukraine in the former Yugoslavia.
Participation was fruitful for new acquaintances and exchanging contacts!
