Афіша заходу

What do we know about women in the field of international relations? What role have female Ukrainian diplomats and diplomats of Ukrainian origin played in shaping the foreign policy of our country? How have the wives of state leaders and diplomats contributed to building a positive image of Ukraine? And how did the gender breakthrough occur that enabled women to represent Ukraine on equal terms in the international diplomatic arena?

These and other important questions will be discussed during the presentation of the book «Woman in Official and Public Diplomacy».

The event will address the following topics:

  • the first women to hold diplomatic positions;
  • the qualities necessary for women to build successful careers in diplomacy;
  • public diplomacy as a powerful tool of international communication.
