Philologist’s Day: 4th Interdisciplinary Conference and Creative Laboratory for students, postgraduate students, and teachers

Фрагмент афіші заходу

Every word is a seed that carries the genetic code of culture. This spring, we come together to witness how these seeds take root and grow into new meanings.

On April 17, 2026, participants are invited to join the 4th Online Scientific and Practical Conference and Creative Laboratory, where experienced scholars, dedicated educators, and creative youth will meet and collaborate.

This year, the symbolic image of the event is a dandelion – light and mobile, able to overcome borders and distances. Much like the word itself, it transcends borders and distances, traveling through time and generations, transforming into poetry, scholarly research, translations, and book graphics. Participants are invited to become the «wind» that helps these meanings spread and flourish.

Dialogue Space: From Research to Creative Expression

The program unfolds across two interconnected dimensions, offering opportunities for both intellectual exploration and artistic expression.

  • Research Workshop. Participants will explore key issues in translation studies, examine Ukrainian and foreign philology, engage in discussions on the nuances of the German and English languages, and share innovative teaching approaches.
  • Creative Laboratory. Here, the word takes on new life through practice and creativity. The program includes:
    • translation challenges involving English, German, and French;
    • original writing – poetry and prose;
    • «between the Word and the Line»: an exploration of book art and visual storytelling;
    • a reflective dialogue on literature and films.

The event is the result of collaboration among leading educational institutions, uniting academic traditions and creative practices from Kryvyi Rih Pedagogical University to APP and Pryazovskyi State Technical University.

The conference will take place on April 17, 2026, , starting at 14:00.

Join us to experience how the word resonates today and how it grows into the future.
