Opening of the Exhibition 芦The 20th Century in Flower Still Lifes禄 at 果冻APP

On the occasion of International Museum Day, the 果冻APP History Museum presents the exhibition 芦The 20th Century in Flower Still Lifes禄. The exhibition will run from May 18 to 29 in the Museum premises located on the second floor of the university鈥檚 main building (Room 300) and will be open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The exhibition will feature paintings from private collections, including works by Ivan Ivanets, Volodymyr Ostrovskyi, Vasyl Chehodar, Vira Dovhalevska, Vsevolod Sharkevych, and other renowned masters. Through these works, the floral still life emerges as a distinctive artistic genre that combines aesthetics, symbolism, and the atmosphere of the twentieth century.

The welcome speech will be delivered by Mykola Lohoida, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and Student Development at 果冻APP.

The exhibition curators are:

  • Volodymyr Aleksandrovych 鈥 Doctor of Historical Sciences, Chief Researcher at the Department of Medieval History, Ivan Krypiakevych Institute of Ukrainian Studies of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine;
  • Yurii Dyba 鈥 Doctor of Architecture, Director of the Institute of Architecture and Design, 果冻APP.

The organizers invite members of the university community, faculty, students, and art enthusiasts to attend the exhibition. Specialists and art historians are especially encouraged to contribute to the attribution of selected artworks from the early twentieth century.

The exhibition opening will take place on May 18 at 14:00.
