The International Institute of Education, Culture and Diaspora Relations, 果冻APP, invites you to the presentation of a book 芦Because Muscovites are foreign people...禄 (Bo moskali chuzhi liudy). Its author is a well-known public figure of the Ukrainian diaspora and president of the Ukrainian World Congress (1998鈥2008), lawyer Askold Lozynskyi.
What is this book about? It includes short interesting reflections of a Ukrainian who was born, grew up and became successful in the USA. It is about the Ukrainian diaspora, problems of dual citizenship, Russia鈥檚 war against Ukraine and its conclusion, about Ukrainian and world politicians and much more.
At the meeting, you will:
- hear his reflections on the events in Ukraine on the eve and after the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation;
- learn about the US policy towards Ukraine;
- find out his opinion about the alternative history of Putin and the strategy of fighting against Russia.
The speaker will not forget about tragic pages of Ukrainian history 鈥 the Holodomor and Babyn Yar.
You will also learn about other works by Askold Lozynskyi, in particular about the collection of reviews and memories 芦Dream, word and deed禄, published on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Ukrainian Free University and the 30th anniversary of the death of its long-time rector Volodymyr Yaniv.
The organizers invite political scientists, historians, journalists, specialists in international relations, and everyone who is interested in finding out more about Ukraine, its history, and struggle.
