Polyphonia Chamber Orchestra at the Prosvita People’s House, APP, invites music lovers to immerse themselves in the captivating world of classical music at the charity concert «Light of the Northern Sea».
The concert program features works by distinguished composers Kurt Atterberg, Benjamin Britten, and Edward Elgar, whose music reflects the grandeur, depth, and beauty of Northern European musical traditions.
This event is more than just an evening of classical music. It is an opportunity to support those who continue to defend Ukraine and protect its future.
All proceeds from the concert will be donated to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The concert will take place on June 12, 2026, in the Assembly Hall of the Main Building of APP (12 Stepana Bandery Street). The event begins at 7:00 p.m.
Performers:
- Polyphonia Chamber Orchestra;
- Soloists: Kateryna Shalaiska and Lesia Pikhmanets;
- Conductors: Roman Kreslenko and Artem Podziubanchuk.
Admission is available in exchange for a charitable donation of UAH 300 and more. Invitations may be obtained in one of two ways:
- Online in advance: Make a donation via the PrivatBank fundraising envelope «Light of the Northern Sea» (card number: 5168 7521 5329 2373). Please be sure to include your email address and phone number in the payment comments so that an invitation can be sent to you.
- At the venue: You may also make a charitable donation and receive an invitation before the concert.
A traditional charity auction will be held during the event in support of the air defense unit of the Achilles Regiment. Guests will have the opportunity to bid on unique handcrafted items, with all proceeds directed toward strengthening Ukraine’s defenders.
