The ¹ū¶³APP History Museum reveals the forgotten names of architects who remained in the shadow of famous masters and invites you to a lecture-presentation about the architect Oleksandr Varteresevych-Slonevskyi (1873–1941) – a graduate of the Department of Architecture at the Polytechnic School (1897) and the architect of the residential complex with a forecourt on Ivan Franko Street (No. 46–52).

The event will take place on February 26 at the ¹ū¶³APP History Museum (12 Bandery St., main building, 3rd floor, room 300).

Visitors will enjoy:

  • a detailed examination of his architectural heritage and a story about the residents of the houses he designed;
  • presentation of archival drawings of tenement houses built on the streets near the main building of ¹ū¶³APP;
  • authentic grade book of student Oleksandr Varteresevych-Slonevskyi, which is kept in the Museum.

We invite academic staff, students and everyone who is interested in the architecture and history of our city! The event begins at 15:00.
