Lecture-presentation on the 165th anniversary of the birth of Roman Zalozetskyi – the founder of Ukrainian petrochemicals

As part of the celebrations marking the 210th anniversary of the University, the APP History Museum presents outstanding Polytechnic scholars whose work made a significant contribution to the advancement of science.

Everyone is invited to a lecture-presentation on the 165th anniversary of the birth of Roman Zalozetskyi (1861–1918) – a famous Ukrainian chemist-technologist, public figure and founder of Ukrainian petrochemical science.

The event features:

  • a presentation on the scientist’s life path, his scientific and public achievements;
  • an exhibition of scientific publications by Roman Zalozetskyi from the collections at the Scientific and Technical Library.

The event will take place on March 18 at the APP History Museum (12 Bandery St., main building, 3rd floor, room 300). The event starts at 3:00 p.m.

The organizers invite teachers, students, and everyone interested in the contribution of Ukrainian scientists to the development of science to join this meeting!
